About Dr. Sisk

Dr. Sisk provides highly effective, evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, fostering meaningful change through a kind, positive, and deeply engaged presence.

Her approach blends warmth with steady guidance, helping clients understand their internal world, strengthen resilience, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. She works with clients to identify their goals, understand what keeps them stuck, and develop tools that support sustainable change.

Her academic and clinical training began at Wesleyan University, where she excelled both academically and athletically, graduating as the all-time leading scorer in the school’s basketball program—an experience that shaped her discipline, leadership, and capacity for teamwork. She later completed her doctoral training at New York University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical assessment, and long-term psychodynamic work.

Dr. Sisk has completed extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Her integrative style allows her to tailor treatment to the needs of each client, blending practical coping skills with deeper emotional exploration. She helps individuals understand how early experiences influence present-day patterns while developing new ways of responding to emotions, relationships, and stress.
